I just recently started using the library again. — I haven’t been there in so long that my old library card was no longer in the system! The kids were in grade school back when I had a card!
You see I’m reading so much these days, that I couldn’t possibly buy every book that I want to read! I don’t always want the all of books when I’m done with them. I have some “keepers” (like The Attractor Factor and various business books) and many I end up just giving away.
When I first went back to the library, I was discouraged at the selection, and actually asked the librarian if we had purchased any books since 1999. I know what you’re thinking… not too tactful, eh?! Oops… not how to win friends and influence people! But to my delight she said that if there was anything I wanted to read but couldn’t find, she would find it in the network for me… and if there was something new I wanted they could even purchase it!
It sounds like many of the books that I would like to read will be available! I suddenly feel very wealthy! 
So yesterday I thought I’d test the system and see if they would look at purchasing Zero Limits, by Joe Vitale. The librarian said she’d put in a purchase order for it and I’ll be notified by email when it comes to my local branch…they’ll be holding it for me!
Now this is one book I’ll most likely end up purchasing anyways… but now it will be in our library as well, as a valuable community resource! How great is that! If everyone requested this book at their library perhaps we could flood our communities with the healing ho’oponopono Joe teaches about in the book… can you think of a better way to spend tax dollars?
