I just finished up a map for the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce. It was a delight to work with them – what a great town! Ferndale is a designated Cool City here in Michigan, with a bit of an urban/suburban flair. It’s edgy, young, and fabulous!
Check out their Chamber website, and if you are ever in town visiting be sure to check them out! They have a walking downtown area on West 9 Mile Rd. just west of Woodward and many other businesses scattered around in the area. The map will be on line at the Chamber’s site soon and all the “happening” businesses will be included!
I just wanted to acknowledge and thank the businesses and the chamber members, especially Executive Director Maile Ilac Boeder, and Chairman Jerome Raska of Blumz…by JRDesigns. Also thank you to Sharon and David Chess for sharing their booth at the State Fair with any chamber members that wanted to be there. I had a delightful time visiting with Sharon that evening! This town has a lively Chamber of Commerce and active DDA and some of the nicest business people around!
Hey — if you are in town this weekend check out the Art Fair. My hand beaded necklaces and bracelets will be on sale at Avalon Faire, a great new store in town, at 195 W. Nine Mile Rd. Stop in and look around, Storm, the owner, has a great selection of unique items, including some wonderful homemade soaps, scented oils, and incense! The store just has good vibes, there are always friendly people gathered here!
Well that’s the scoop… if you haven’t seen Ferndale, you haven’t seen Michigan at it’s coolest and most fun and fabulous self!
